Portfolio

This is a brief but woefully incomplete portfolio of some of the projects I have managed and executed. These range from SMB projects to projects for Fortune 10 companies like Verizon, T-Mobile, Bell Canada, and a few others. I’ll provide some brief context for each.

Web Projects

Genius Roof Web Redesign

Genius Roof needed to transition from residential to commercial roofing in order to maximize deal size and concentrate on high-value accounts. I managed the selection of the agency, SEO setup and integration, marketing plugins, analytics setup and tracking, and uploading projects that best reflect the work of the firm.

A hobby site that I plan on monetizing in 2022, focus now is building a brand and social following. I built this from the ground up using WordPress, a customized version of the Bimber Theme. I designed the logo and color scheme.

I manage all editorial work as well as SEO optimization, hosting, social integrations, and analytics. Launched in July 2021, the site is averaging hundreds of visitors per month as of November 2021 and growing.

Product Launches

Verizon Digital Security Pro

Though the product has changed somewhat, in my time at Intel/McAfee I launched the original version of this product in both wired and wireless channels. I led a collaborative team of engineers, product managers, sales, and account managers to ensure product viability within the Verizon ecosystem.

This work included enlisting creative agencies for promotional videos, webpages, internal sales training videos, and ensuring that they fit within Verizon branding guidelines, which were undergoing a shift at the time of product launch (2016-2017).

McAfee Security for T-Mobile

I had the privilege of leading a team of very talented account managers who launched the first-of-its-kind security suite at T-Mobile that included protection for all devices and identity protection for T-Mobile Customers.

This included winning the client away from a top competitor, presenting a multi-channel marketing and training strategy to ensure consumer activation, upsell, and point-of-sale success. We accomplished the latter through educational content directed towards sales reps, and this program is now one of the most successful revenue drivers at T-Mobile in the value-added-services category.

Bell Canada Security Suite

Bell Canada needed a more comprehensive security suite to address customer need for security across all of their devices. As the marketing manager for Bell Canada, I designed and helped implement a product migration strategy and overall launch plan that moved customers onto the new security suite.

This included email, push messaging, direct mail, and sales and support training at their call centers throughout western Canada. I am proud to say that plan is now their gold standard for new product launches today.

But of course nothing gets accomplished alone. I worked with an excellent team of sales, engineers, product managers, and sales trainers to execute a multi-channel, multi-platform marketing campaign. Success? This was done back in 2012, and McAfee remains their dedicated security suite today.

Public Speaking and PR

While managing Intel/McAfee’s family protection products, I took on the role of international spokesperson for McAfee’s solution to safeguarding children on the internet. This involved public speaking as well as radio and television interviews.

Many of these have been lost to time, but I served in panels at “Living in Digital Times” symposium in New York, as well as a panel in Washington D.C addressing the department of education. Internationally I spoke at partner press events in Buenos Aires and Mexico City, launching McAfee’s Family Protection product.

In addition to these events I participated in the filming of the Documentary “Submit” about Cyberbullying as an industry expert. Not sure if I made the final cut 😏
